Get started

Talk on your website

Let visitors ask questions out loud. Add a voice button they can use right in their browser.

  1. #Create a public key

Go to Settings → API keys and create a public key. Add the address of every site that will use it, such as https://www.example.com, and pick the assistants it may start.

  2. #Paste the script tag

Put this just before </body> on your site:

    HTML
    <script src="https://app.bluepenguin.io/widget.js"
            data-key="bp_pub_your_public_key"
            data-assistant="12"
            async></script>
  3. #Try it

Reload your page. A "Talk to us" button appears in the bottom corner. Click it, allow the microphone and start talking.

You can change the label, colour and corner. The web widget reference lists every option, explains why public keys are safe to publish, and describes the limits on web calls.
