Handoff
Move callers to the right assistant without making them hang up and dial again.
A handoff tool points at another of your assistants. When the model uses it, that assistant takes over the same call with the conversation so far, including its own instructions, voice and tools.
assistant_idassistant- The assistant to hand over to.
messagetext- What to say before the switch, such as "Let me pass you to our billing team."

Make one handoff tool per destination and describe when to use each. The description is what the model goes by.
Tip
Give each assistant a different name and voice so callers notice the change, or the same voice if callers should not notice the switch.
