Recording and privacy

Choose what gets recorded, what callers hear and what data you keep.

recordingbooleandefault true: Record the call audio. Recordings play on the call page and are only served to signed-in members of your business.
recording_noticebooleandefault true: Tell callers the call may be recorded, right after the first message.
hipaabooleandefault false: Keep no recording and no transcript for this assistant's calls. The call still gets an outcome, and the summary only says it was a private call.

Recording laws differ by country and state. Some require every party to agree, so keep the notice on unless you are sure you don't need it.
